The story is intriguing, grabbing the reader’s attention right away, and holding it until the final, satisfying pages.Alexander and Belle’s fateful meeting has been a long time coming, brought together by a curse placed on Alexander, well before Belle was even born. He needs to be released from his curse and believes she holds the key. What he doesn’t realize is that she may in fact be the key.Both Belle and Alexander are likable characters, victims of circumstance. Rather than lament their seemingly unfortunate situations, they both avoid self-pity and instead show great strength: unwilling to give up on themselves and ultimately each other. They author creates immediate and intense chemistry between these two, resulting in some HOT sex scenes, and a sweet, sensual and spicy romance.I thoroughly enjoyed this book but would have loved to spend more time with the characters and get a bit more background on the story: To know more about Alexander’s and Belle’s family histories.
