It has that steampunk “tone”, a bit Victorian and a bit modern, clever and inventive; a pleasing combination of light-heartedness tinged just enough with darker elements.Ciotta expertly creates a fantasy setting, serving as a backdrop for an engaging and adventurous plot. I had so much fun reading Willie and Simon’s story. They are each well realized characters, with pasts, secrets, and ambitions for the future. When their paths collide, there’s oodles of chemistry, plenty of steamy scenes, and the prospect that their lives may be forever changed in the best ways possible.A story told with creative charm and filled with adventure, delightful fantasy, and sizzling romance, I adore this book.
