I am so glad that I did: I hate to think that I would have missed out.I read the book all the way through, quickly, and then immediately read it again. I wanted, no needed, to continue the experience. It is beautiful, dark, and deliciously sexy. Told in a back and forth between the two characters, the story is wonderfully realized through emotionally raw, captivating, and often delightfully kinky poems. Two people with dark pasts and deep-seated fears find fulfillment and comfort in their mutual lust, love, and understanding.
